Responsible for drip dresses, knit tops for Spring 2016 and holiday collection 2015, and transfer to patter paper, than make a half sample to show the designer. After make a half sample need to communicate with designer to make sure the sample is following the designer’s mind. Assisted in correct pattern.
Responsible in trend researching, fabric sourcing and creating conceptual designs with the team. Worked closely with the patternmaker on the 1st sample; I marked embroidery, printed image, filed swatches. Assisted in the print production process of the collection.
Assisted the design team in designing style #194 coat, which won the highest national sales volume in 2012. Created inspiration/story boards as well as illustrations flats, and graphics for the team. Updated and organized fabrics, fit notes and art references while assisting the patternmaker with the 1st sample.
